Growing up in the Bay - Shanklin Memorial

 

 

 

In November 2020 marks the 100th Anniversary of the opening of the Shanklin Memorial in the old village. Originally to mark the end of the Great War and later World War Two, this is one of the centre pieces of Shanklin, but also scattered around shanklin are other memorials and plaques, we take you on a tour of these is a unique film, Narrated by The Lord-Lieutenant of the Isle of Wight.
